Registration Location: Good Shepherd School Basement Ron Subrizi Room

Registrations received after March 8th will be charged a $25 late fee and uniforms may not be ready in time for the start of the season.

Events: Free Music Series at Good Shepherd Church

Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Marine Park will be putting on free concerts through October, November and December — Every concert will be Sunday at 6 p.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church Avenue S between Brown and Batchelder Streets Brooklyn NY 11235

The music series offers a variety of music ranging from light classics, popular favorites and instrumental features to classical transcriptions and original works for bands.

Breaking: Confirmed Swine Flu at Good Shepherd…

Two cases of swine flu have been suspected at two Catholic grammar schools in Brooklyn. Rev. Kieran Harrington said that two schools, St. Brigid in Bushwick and Good Shepherd in Marine Park, would be closed at dismissal today and remain closed for the rest of the week.

Update: 3:00 pm – Well place sources are telling me that the Good Shepherd case has now been confirmed.

Arrest Made in Good Shepherd mugging

An arrest was made in the good shepherd mugging and was confirmed by Brooklyn chief john fox.

Cops say Eric Ferguson, 18, is the punk caught on a surveillance camera yesterday in front of the Good Shepherd School in Sheepshead Bay viciously attacking beloved computer science teacher Patricia McGowan, 62.

Ferguson, who police say has a record, was picked up in his Avenue Z home and police said McGowan’s 2000 Toyota Corolla was nearby.

Assault on Good Sheperd Teacher Spurs Investigation, Warnings

An attack, robbery and carjacking of a teacher at Good Shepherd School has caused community alarm, and the police are investigating whether the incident is part of a larger pattern of assaults and thefts.

A female teacher was accosted at 6:30 in the morning on Tuesday as she arrived at the school, on Brown Street and Avenue S. The attacker punched her in the face and stole her purse, then came back moments later and stole her car. The teacher was hospitalized for her injuries, but released the same day. The injury left her unable to speak and give a description.
