If you remember the Foursome Diner closed back in November 2007.

Well now the Walgreens that was being constructed has finally opened.

Wow that was fast! Walgreens is now more or less complete at what used to be the foursome diner.

The foursome diner was demolished and the new Walgreens building was constructed well within a year.

Walls Go Up At Walgreens Site

At the former site of the foursome diner, walls have gone up for what is going to be walgreens.

Kouros Diner Should be Opening Soon

The owners of the now closed Foursome diner are close to opening a new diner called Kouros, on Nostrand and Z, where the Chinese buffet used to be.

Good luck to them. Maybe they will let me know when it opens so I can take some pictures.

Foursome Diner now Kouros Diner Opening Soon

As we all now know the Foursome Diner is closed and just in case you didn’t know its going to reopen at that Chinese Buffet on Nostrand and Z, next to the Banco Popular.

Both locations have signs up promoting Kouros (386 Nostrand Avenue) opening in the spring.

On the corner of Nostrand Avenue and Avenue Z, which used to be some kind of Chinese buffet, and prior to that â€” many moons ago â€” the Pavilion Diner, has a sign on its window advertising that it will re-open in the spring as the “Kouros Dinerâ€¦formerly the Foursome Diner on Bragg Street & Avenue U.”
