Robbery at “It’s All About Me Now”

A robbery took place late this afternoon around 5pm at “It’s All About Me Now” at the BUSY corner of Gerritsen Avenue & Avenue U. A female employee of “It’s All About Me Now” and her boyfriend allegedly removed 8 large black garbage bags of items from the store. They are being questioned by the detectives of the 61pct. All items have been returned and there were no reported injuries. The store did not comment as to if the store was open or closed at the time of the robbery.

DOT Installs Traffic Counters at Gerritsen & Avenue U

The NYC Department of Transportation is conducting another traffic study. They have installed four traffic survey counters at Gerritsen & Avenue U one for each direction.

Please don’t destroy these, like last time.

Ave-U-Plaza is Born

Apparently the stores on Gerritsen Avenue have a nifty new sign and a new name “Ave-U-Plaza”.

Interesting, not only because they didn’t want to spell out “avenue” but because the stores all have Gerritsen Avenue addresses, not one with an Avenue U address.

Is having a “Gerritsen Ave Plaza” kryptonite.
