Living out here in Washington State miss the bagels. They got something they may call a bagel

I personally think that there bagels are gross and that there coffee sucks. There bagels are always rock hard. I go to the bagel store on ave.U next to the car service. On the occasion that I go to Gerritsen bagel for convenience I will not buy there coffer but go somewhere else or make it at home.

The coffee has definitely gone down in the last year, I don’t know if it is the change of personnel or what? The mornings are horrendous there, line is always too long and the quality is just not good enough to make people wait. And if you go there late in the afternoon, they are closed by 330 or 4, I guess the guy there has much more important than make money

I buy 2 dozen bagels each week for my co-workers. Everyone used to take turns bring in their own until it was unanimously decided that these were by far the best. Now everyone takes turns paying. The point is that these bagels beat out many choices in NYC and parts of NJ, even some of the “better” places in Manhattan. They are the absolute best.

I personally love the crossaints toasted with butter or with bacon. The bagels are good, but would be better with a softer feel. Although the service is sometimes slow. If I order a toasted bagel with butter I would want the butter put on it and then thrown into the broiler
