Just in case, a GerritsenMemories Mirror

We were thinking today about GerritsenMemories.com which is a stretch because we usually don’t think about anything but our moonshine and better ways to make it.

We were thinking “What If” GerritsenMemories were to disappear. Thats a big what if! We decided that the risk of losing the content was high due to the unknown status of the site.
We mirrored the WHOLE site here:

The mirror doesn’t have the Message Board entries. However we have magic that was able to download every entry on the Message Board but its not currently accessible . It would have to be rebuilt for that to be viewable.

Hopefully Memories doesn’t go down.

www.gerritsenbeachmemories.com is a site dedicated to the memories of gerritsen beach. At the beginning of the summer of 2006 it declared that it was “taking a break”.

What kind of site shuns its user base away?
What kind of site doesnt allow its own users to create a buzz about its site?
If it was a question of moderation. Why not let its users moderate themselves?
The only reason to take a break would be to upgrade the site. I dont see that happening. Their board is 7 years old.
