The owners of the now closed Foursome diner are close to opening a new diner called Kouros, on Nostrand and Z, where the Chinese buffet used to be.

Good luck to them. Maybe they will let me know when it opens so I can take some pictures.

This is what is left of the Foursome Diner.  It will soon become a Walgreens.

Foursome Parking Lot has the Walgreen’s banner up along with some pretty serious “rodent baited area” warnings.

As we all now know the Foursome Diner is closed and just in case you didn’t know its going to reopen at that Chinese Buffet on Nostrand and Z, next to the Banco Popular.

Both locations have signs up promoting Kouros (386 Nostrand Avenue) opening in the spring.

On the corner of Nostrand Avenue and Avenue Z, which used to be some kind of Chinese buffet, and prior to that — many moons ago — the Pavilion Diner, has a sign on its window advertising that it will re-open in the spring as the “Kouros Diner…formerly the Foursome Diner on Bragg Street & Avenue U.”

The Foursome is going to become a Walgreens
and what used to be Citgo, is going to become condos.

The longtime Diner of the neighborhood the Foursome Diner (3074 Avenue U, Brooklyn, NY 11229) has closed for good.
