There is a massive sinkhole forming at Dictum and Allen. It started a few months ago when the fire hydrant started leaking and now day by day the drop is growing.

I try to avoid the sinkhole when driving down Allen, but there are time when a car is coming to the intersection from Dictum and you have to veer a bit to the left and drive over it. I’m afraid that one day someone may drive over it and it will collapse causing injury or worse.

I guess everybody is getting the Shaft from this sinkhole. They say this sinkhole is a bad mother shut your mouth. But I’m talkin’ ’bout sinkhole. Then we can dig it.

I don’t know, I’m just wondering Anonymous a few weeks ago a tree was blown down on one of our courts and now a sinkhole is developing on Allen Avenue. With 2012 right around the corner I’m wondering if this is the beginning of the end of Gerritsen Beach?
