What a joke FEMA is I already filed a claim and got turned down after having $10,000 worth of damage. They told me that it wasn’t enough damage. My insurance covered less than half of it, because of my deductable.

  • I applied to FEMA for the flood damage to my basement. I had approx. $2200 worth of damage. (water heater, ripping up of basement floor, etc). I applied on Sept 9, the FEMA guy came to my house on Sept. 12 and I got a check in the mail on Sept 16 for $2750.

  • You should go the the meeting then. Maybe they will help you find out.
