The water no longer discharges into the bay. When there is excessive flow the sewage is now diverted to a storage facility on Ralph avenue and flatlands until the plant can handle it.

I call BS on this one… Has anyone seen any construction that would indicate that pipes were layed to run sewage from here all the way over to Ralph and Flatlands

This is different than what the initial comment was about. This is rain water that is store in tanks at the sewer plant by South Shore HS until the over all system surge subsides so it doesn’t overflow from the rain water into Paedegat. They are talking about the broken sewer pipe from the stores and movie theater on Knapp Street.
