It’s such a great thing up in the park, and great to have there during the little league games but…. I think by little league season starts the thing is going to be destroyed by the lovely kids we have in GB. I’m not talking about the kids from north of knapp St that come and use the skate park… They seem to be well behaved when I’m at Seba Park with my son.

Different subject does anybody know who was driving the dark colored bronco that tried to break through the access gate at Larry Veling field Saturday night at 11:30 PM.
This is the second time this happened within a month. You know they want to drive on the ball field and ruin whatever they can.
Dan do a story on this let’s get this out there maybe some body knows some names.
I urge the NYPD to put the police tower on the avenue and get the cameras rolling.

Even if someone knows the names doesn’t mean they are going to give them up. As for the tower, ha, we blew it when we complained on fourth of July. Other neighborhoods welcome the nypd but all this hood does is dog them.

Can you tell me why a group of 15/16 year olds can be walking up Seba Avenue at 4:00 in the afternoon with a full keg? They clearly are having trouble carrying it so it is full. Who sold this to them?? Or perhaps did a store sell it to an adult and it got handed over to the “children”? Where are they going to drink it??? They are our own kids from Gerritsen Beach for sure. Recognize all of them.

They are going back weeds to drink it while waiting for the “green” comfort station opens up. The parents did it when they were young so in this neighborhood it’s OK for them too.

ive seen alot of the local kids in the drink distributer on utica lately. they do ID though, ive been IDed and im 40, so they have someone getting it for them if they are underage.

You know what? My sons played little league in GB. I’m Irish Catholic originally from Marine Park. I think it is one of the nicest neighbohoods and we love the skate park.
Don’t you people have anything better to do than complain about a so-called “green comfort station”?
My concern was that it was a 24 hour facility. That would be an issue.
Take on more important issues, such as the kids hauling kegs down Gerritsen Ave.

Why was six… 15-16 year old african american teens in the little kids park next to the skate park on a school day around 11:00 a.m ( I know it was a school day because both my kids were in school and so were the other kids on the block ) shouldn’t they be in school?? With our new park shouldn,t there be a park employee there to make sure NO ONE is just there hanging out during school hours except for the little ones.
