Tired of the drag racing? Maybe the constant red light running? Well the City now accepts reports of non-emergency traffic conditions, such as:
- drag racing
- trucks chronically using residential streets
- chronic running of red lights.
This may be a loop hole that would allow for a full red light at channel avenue – instead of a flashing yellow. – it may even end the racing and burn outs at the Point.
Call 311 to report a non-emergency traffic situation.
Oh yeah, calling 311 is going to solve all our traffic issues.

It's not, but it's a start. Calling 311 does help directly sometimes, and it's always good to have the numbers as a foundation for further action — increased police enforcement, traffic calming, etc.
But yeah, with all the dangerous and illegal crap that drivers pull in my neighborhood, I'd be calling 311 constantly!
