2007 Gerritsen Beach Memorial
On Saturday, September 11 2010, Gerritsen Beach and Marine Park will be holding memorials services dedicated to the victims and survivors of September 11th.
The Marine Park memorial, hosted by State Senator Marty Golden, will be held at 6:00 pm at Filmore and Marine Parkway.
The Gerritsen Beach memorial ceremony, hosted by the Knights of Columbus, will start at 7:00 pm at Larry Veiling Field.

Cannot believe its the upcoming 9th anniversary. Still so sad but GB does a beautfiful memorial to all that were lost. Good for the children that either were to young to understand or weren't born yet ….. to never forget!!

You are so far off base and extremely offensive. A lot of us here in GB have lost love ones on 9/11. Who the fuck do you think you are saying such a horrible thing toward the people of GB? They have the memorial every year to honor those lost and support the families that have suffered losing a loved one on that day. My brother was killed that day while saving others. I bet you don't have an ounce of courage in your body, and, for that matter, any compassion toward people and this country. You are a disgusting individual for making that comment. Go back into your hole and brood there. We don't need people like you around here or anywhere for that matter.
Go ahead and try to tell your story to my mother or any other mother or father that lost a child that day and tell them that a memorial service is a chore. I dare you!!!!!!!!!!!

Your loved one and all the people who lost their lives will be in my prayers and in the prayers of many others. Wheter it was 1 person like your brother or thousands like the others who lost their lives that day, it was one too many. There is no way you lost someone on 9/11 and there is absolutly no way your a vet your a coward who would never put himself in harms way for anyone. Your the type that would let someone harm everyone in your family as long as they didn't hurt you.
