Never mind the feral cats the nut nextdoor feeds. She is setting out dishes of food all night long to specifically feed the racoons. In doing this she is creating a huge problem for me. The racoons create a 1-2 hour clean up jpb every morning for my housekeeper. They take the plants and dirt out of all my flowerpots on my top deck, which of course winds up all over my bottom sidewalk. They sh-- all over my deck and cement sidewalk and the pee in my mini piggies water bucket. Then I put out critter ritter. Great stuff it really works... It stopped them for about 2 weeks. Then my neighbor suddenly complained and said his poor dear wife has asthma and demands that I not use the stuff. Problem is back again!!! Oh! by the way I called the cops last week because one of the little dears was wobbling and falling down all over my backyard during the broad day light hours. The cop shot it. It was rabid. I told this idiot next door to no avail. Help!! Help!! I am losing my mind and I am about to lose my housekeeper who has been with me for 8 years. At wits end.... I was not trying to hurt the raccoon in any way they do not belong here. Do you know that their feces can kill or paralyze a child, or how about they can rip you apart with their claws. Oh and by the way I do not leave food or garbage around for them to eat. You may think it's cruel maybe you don't have kids to worry about but the most important thing to me is the safety of my family. Seems the raccoons are taking over Park Slope (of course THEY made the news). They are trying to get in through windows, screens and doors. They are looking for places to hide and sleep during the day and what looks good to them in the early morning may not turn out to be so good when people wake up and come out to play. I feel bad for them and all wildlife trying to make it in the city. Especially with this draught, when is it going to rain? Everything is so brown, even the weeds are dead. This will be the citys excuse for the next water bill increase too. Maybe the all powerful King Bloomberg is making it not rain just so he can raise the rate!
