ATV’s Damage Gerritsen Avenue Parkland
This week, next to the brand new Olga’s Garden is a very large area literally destroyed by Quad/ATV tracks. This is a disgrace to the neighborhood and destroys the arguments that local Quad and Dirt Bike riders have brought up on Comments and various meetings. The only way to stop this is if you see a Dirtbike/Mini-Bike/Quad/ATV riding on the Avenue or Parkland call 911 immediately.

Get real GB Cares???? i think not…this people are up here all the time racing around..its a disgrace that people dont care about their own neighborbood..and some are NOT kids..and I guess the Vollies vandalized their mural too!
I work on the Avenue and have chased kids who are bombarding passerbys and cars with water ballons..attacking buses and car services with eggs and shaving cream on Halooween, along with local businesses. Our local talent vandalizes the stores on the avenue and get caught on camera and dont care.

They are to far apart to be a quad but who cares if it's a car or quad They still shouldn't be there. Last year while walking my dog and having my son in the stroller the stroller flipped on it's side because of these tracks made it so hard to keep it up. It's dangerous and something needs to done about it. It being done in the middle of the night so I don't really think it's kids.

LOL!! Once again this was a great Knee Jerk reaction by Dan who still has not learned. Get the facts before reporting and pointing fingers. Journalist and reporters do this so that they do not set unnecessary fear and panic into the public. No it wasn't Quads or ATVs

While I would assume the quads/ATVs are the likely culprit, can someone go measure the width of those tracks, centerline to centerline (in a straight section), and post it here? At least with that factual evidence we can clearly state that it was an idiot in a car/truck or some bastard on a quad/ATV.
Even if it proves that quads/ATVs did not do this, it does not invalidate the issue of punks on quads/ATVs.

those tracks were not made by the buick skylark it was the 63 pontiac tempest which could easily be confused with the skylark since both cars were available in mint green paint and anyone thats been stuck in the mud in alabama knows that
