The Buckley’s Kennedy’s Charity Run and Family Fun Day, which raises money for autism programs, is celebrating its 30th anniversary. It steps off at 10 a.m. in Riis Park and ends at Kennedy’s Restaurant in Breezy Point.

The race was started by business partners Jimmy Buckley and Gerard Casey – joint owners of Kennedy’s – as a way to give back to the communities they served. The original route started at Buckley’s on Nostrand Ave. in Brooklyn and ended at Kennedy’s.
