Clear Enough For Ya?

There seems to be more and more of the “Do not block my driveway” signs everyday. This one is unique do to it’s shear size.

They are very hardcore about no one parking over there. But the most amazing thing is, they absolutely never, ever, ever use that driveway. I would also like to know what gives them the right to put a driveway there anyway. A few years ago they put in a sidewalk that was never there, paved half the street, that was never paved before, and put a gate in their fence (where a gate never was before) and voila, they got a driveway. They live on Fane Court and have a driveway on Channel Ave. off of Ebony. Amazing.

Don't you need a permit or a variance of some kind to install a driveway on street that's not you're address?

And another thing, why aren't they in some sort of trouble for all the graffiti they wrote all over the concrete barricades at the end of Channel Ave? A sign on their fence not good enough for them?

That guy is an ass he gives the tamaqua grief every chance he gets. I think he is a cop.

Maybe GB cares can paint over it. people should call 311 on his ass.

whats the address, check the Building department's website to see if it is a legal driveway and if they had permits for cement work on the sidewalk. Then flood 311 with the calls about graffitti and if it's an illegal driveway

The driveway is legit, unlike many other driveways, plans were submitted and approved by the City. as far as the Tamaqua goes if they can't control themselves they should have their ba**s busted, this is a family friendly neighborhood

If the city approved the plans for the driveway and if it's legit then true enough nobody has the right to park and block the driveway. If people ARE blocking the driveway then the owner would be better served calling someone at the 61'st to drive by and ticket the vehicles and then calling Ridge to tow them away.

Nobody should be threatened with vandalism though.

The owner of this property is not a lifetime gerritsen beach resident.i also believe he is in law enforcement. When did they ever put driveways at dead-ends.

You do NOT have the right to deface public property like that although all cops think the laws do not apply to them. Call your cop friends and let them handle the parking problems, we all know how fast cops show up to help each other wish i knew the secert password.

Its not like it matters, its used to that stupid drunk driver do not drive themselvs down in the water. Its not like its the side of the library or somthing. Yes thismay be a 'Family friendly neighborhood' (Pfft yea right) But i don't think that gossiping about this on the internet and harassing someone, and getting others to go up against him isnt very 'Family friendly' People don't have to be friendly with others, its not a requirement to be friendly to live here. Its simply just a place to live. This is perfect example as to why people do not want to be known here, because everyone in this neighborhood has to gossip about one thing its actualy pretty disgusting…
