I worked in sunset park liquor store, and their markup was at at least 33% on wines and 20% on hard liquor. When Coleen was the owner, i've noticed with a trained eye that her markup was much less. I could hardly believe that they were making any profit at all. I agree that a bottle of Gray Goose can be bought 2 dollars cheaper if you shop around, but I'd rather walk 5 blocks to this store than drive somewhere. Guys at this store are pretty nice
I think the new owners are doing a great job expanding the choice in wines and hard liquor. I noticed new wines from France, Chile, Argentine and Italy at affordable prices. Way to go, guys. Welcome and GOOD LUCK!
