I would like to let people know of two recent crimes in the area.
First, which you may have saw the activity was a violent robbery which happened on November 23, the day before thanksgiving. An internet company based on the avenue was violently robbed. A male black carrying a bag which looked like it contained a firearm, and a hammer, entered the storefront on Gerritsen Avenue. He then herded the 2 female and 2 male employees to the back room and demands cash. However this is a not a cash business. One guy hands over $25, Suspect hit both males with the hammer. He then escapes. No Arrests have been made.

Another thanksgiving crime! Turns out while Clare Denver, whom is in her late 70′s of Garland Ct, had her house was burglarized thanksgiving night. The thieves walked in through an unlocked back door and stole a 32′ lcd tv, checks, and credit card,
Also, the police are still investigating the hibernians burglary and are asking for people to come forward.
Danny you need a tri-pod or something. Cant hear a thing due to all the moving around etc.

while I understand the need to let people know, I really think you should have left out Mrs. Denver’s name, street & age. This was unneccessary. THE SOB who ripped her off will burn in hell. You don’t rob your neighbors & especially the nicest person in GB.
BTW there was a string of car break ins in the summer. Mostly unlocked cars. This happens from time to time so as safe as we are here. LOCK YOUR DOORS & YOUR CARS PEOPLE.

No things never change down here that is the pros & cons of libing in the beach. we always take the good with the bad. The only difference I see is no one is stepping up & giving up the jerk who ruined thanksgiving for Mrs Denver, her children, and extendied family (her neighbors) who dearly care ofr her & hate for anyhting bad to happen to her.
Lets see if maybe santa’s elves were wathcing that night & we can catch the little a*holes who did this. drop an anonomous tip to anyone who lives witthin 4 blocks of garland & it will be dealt with beach style.
