NYPD Skywatch Returns to Gerritsen Beach for 4th
As part of the 61st Precinct’s response to Gerritsen Beach over the last few years under Captain Mastrokostas, we have seen Skywatch. Its normally used by the NYPD to monitor areas where crime is spiking. Not sure how to measure its effectiveness. I had a bunch of family and friends over. Since Friday it’s been barbeque, pool, beers, more beer, etc. I got into the spirit of things and decorated the place with a lot of red white and blue patriotic flavor. The neighbors of course, were already decked out. The fireworks continuing late into the night were kind of cool – a little rebellion on the fourth is always a good thing. I’m exhausted. Cool beans.

What a waste of taxs payer money.Cops love it.Do you think they want to sit in that thing in Bushwick They might actually have to do something.And there getting over time to boot.
