Two cases of swine flu have been suspected at two Catholic grammar schools in Brooklyn. Rev. Kieran Harrington said that two schools, St. Brigid in Bushwick and Good Shepherd in Marine Park, would be closed at dismissal today and remain closed for the rest of the week.

No it’s not an april fools joke, its real, Lew Fidler, our NYC Councilman, has obtained a direct commitment from the Parks Department that the Skate Park will be repaired. Parks has ordered the special materials and while the damage was significant, it was was not as costly as it first seemed.
