Kiddie Beach Registration

Kiddie Beach Registration will be held every Thursday at the Cort Club during the month of April and the first two Thursday’s in May. 7:00 pm – 9:00pm

    There is always someone who has to be negative…. Would you like the city to take over Kiddie Beach? We have just spent considerable time and effort relative to the excessive assessment placed on that property. We will also be holding our committee meetings to address any and all issues relating to Kiddie Beach. Those who have assigned responsibilities will be held to their responsibilities. Be more specific about what needs “cleaning up” and let us know at the next GBPOA meeting, Wednesday, April 1st. If I was a betting man, I would bet I know which among the known most negative people in Gerritsen Beach made the initial comment. We are each responsible for keeping the area clean when we see litter. How much effort does it take to pick up some litter and put it in a receptacle.

    Thanks to all the dedicated people from the Beach that have worked so hard to keep Kiddy open and have improved it so much. I think its great. Just another example of something that we have here that you can find no where else. My father was among the original group that founded it and I am happy that it has lasted, but it couldn’t have without the work of GBPOA, Cort Club, etc. THANK YOU!!! The only suggestion I have is that the parade should be bigger and more publicized, so more people/kids are in it.
