This past weekend Saturday December 27th there was a water main break at the very end of Beacon court. Residents didn’t have water for much of that day, and most of their yards were covered in layers of mud from the break.

We’ve had 3 water main breaks in a 2 block radius in the last few months on Gerritsen Avenue alone, not good.

Not for nothing but growing up on that block and seeing the bulkhead decay just makes me wonder where our tax money went. I’m sure this is a problem all over the beach with its dead end bulkheads. Its an accident waiting to happen I feel sorry for that person that decides to sit up on the railing and ends up on there arse.

Another watermain break on Madoc Ave by Kiddie Beach. On Friday DEP seemed to fix it but there is now just a big hole in the street. 311 has been called the hole should be fixed within 10days. We’ll see.
