What a great picture, was Dr. Baronberg’s office upstairs or was it some place else?

  3. Yes the good doctors office was above the library.
I am not sure but I believe the photo might be circa. 1965.

Lots of good memories from that place.

That guy was the best he would visit your house with his big black medical bag in the middle of a snowstorm, you dont get service like that anymore.

actually it was a “57″ ford thunderbird, that was later stolen, there will never be another doctor like old Baronberg, if you look closely at the upper window you can see the (small) sign

    L.J. Baronberg M.D.

Dr. Baronberg was a healer who didn’t ask for your insurance ID before he would treat you. Apparently he has relatives who read this blog & they should know 30yrs later & then some, the good DR is remembered. We could use another Dr Baronberg down here.

I cut my foot when I was about 12 years old. This was about 1970. It happened walking on the rocks in the shallow water of the creek. I think it was the dead end of Florence. I went to Dr. Baronberg and he gave me a few stitches right away. My family did not go to him at all. I was a complete stranger to him, but he helped right away. I don’t remember any questions at all about my insurance or even who I was. I went home and told my mother and I am sure she went up there, but it seemed to be of no concern to Dr. Baronberg. This guy was one of a kind. GB was so was lucky to have him.
