Did anyone notice the damage done to Gerristen Avenue 11/02/08? Cars were broken into, side mirrors were knocked off, garbage strewn about and flower pots kicked into the street. Someone said with was the kids retaliating for not being allowed to attack busses with eggs.

Have both driven & walked the Avenue this weekend. Saw no damage. What part of the avenue? The someone who said the kids were retaliating? Did this soemone actually speak to a person or just guessing?

Starting just before Knapp Street Pizza and heading into the beach. I saw it as I headed towards Good Shepard. I wonder it the people affected realized it wasn’t just them.

Isn’t it amazing how stupid people are, they think that by actually seeing damage with your own eyes isn’t good enough, you have to interview the idiots while they are doing it. I guess it was Casper, the child that belongs to no one in this neighborhood who does all the damage. It was the day after Halloween, figure it out for Christ Sake!
I guess Anonymous is so used to seeing crap in their own neighborhood can’t tell the difference.

They weren’t for a time but no one commented then i went back to anonymous comments, which is quicker and easier.
I will probably do some sort of membership commenting soon along side anonymous comments. With the membership commenting you would have to register. Then at that point it will be much easier to disable the anonymous commenting.

Hi All,
I can’t tell you how much I have enjoyed this web site! I grew up on Hazel Ct but moved out of the Beach when I was 20 years old. I have lived in NH for the past 20 years. But I usually get back to visit a couple of times a year. GerritsenBeach.net is like a small slice of home.
I get the email updates and it’s always fun to see what going on in the neighborhood.
Thanks for doing this web site. I am sure that I am not the only transplanted “Beach Rat” that appreciates it.

What is the difference between online names & anonymous? DO people call you gerritsen girl on the street unlike Vince McHugh.
The damage was done up near Knapp ST. That is why I did not see any damageas I walked down the Avenue and drove down the avenue never made it higher than Alan Ave all weekend.
It is possible the “kids” did it to retaliate but it is also possible some other kids did it for a different reason like because itsSaturday night.
It is obviuos there does not need to be a reason behind the destruction.

I mentioned it because it was a comment which started this whole thing, and what other kids? You mean we have “Special” kids that do damage that we don’t know about that wear costumes that look like our kids?
I know, it must be the old folks, you know how they can be wielding their canes and walkers and blaming on on the poor widdle innocents that roam our streets.
And yes, they do call me Gerristen Girl when I am walking down the street when they aren’t calling me “Your Majesty”. Got it?

somebody should do something about the kids on keen ct. and madoc ave. selling drugs. it is so out in the open you got 20 kids hanging out there all night and day. it is sad to see this going on and nobody says anything about it.
