I know this site is geared more towards Gerritsen Beach but I figured a lot of people in other areas still read this site.
There’s a guy who considers himself handicapped, when he’s the farthest thing from it. He’s sometimes found by the Kings Hwy train station entrance (on the Rainbow side) in a red motorized wheelchair, begging for money with a cup on the arm rest. Unfortunatley, I don’t have a picture of him as of now, but I sure can describe him.
He’s got grey, thinning, wiry hair, a grey mustache and his face looks sunken in, especially near the eyes.
He lives around the corner from me and has absolutley NO problem walking. I actually saw him one day pulling the chair behind him, I guess because the battery may have died. If that’s not a hack move, then I don’t know what is.
He begs for money to support his drug habit. I am not even joking. He used to deal heroin to one of my neighbors and even had them shacked up in his apartment for a while.
IF YOU SEE THIS GUY- DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY MONEY!!!!
YOU JUST GOTTA LOVE IT !!!! That would be a good project for someone that has nothing to do. Just follow some of these beggars home and see what they do and where they live. I can remember years ago, this little old lady that use to beg outside of the 7-11 on Coney Island Ave. She was out there everyday, till one day somone decided to see where she went at night, and don’t ya know…she lived in one of those house right behind 7-11…loooooool I am sure there are tons of stories like this, but they are never exposed and IT DOES MAKE GOOD READING !

Really, he’s a fake? Unfortunately most people begging have other resources (the chick on the train every month needing just a little to hold her over til her check comes in).
I love those guys on the scooters. How bout the lady in the beach riding around on her scooter with her crew, “walking” her dog & puffing on her cigarette? Did smoking make her “need” a scooter?

Even the guys in the vitamin store, where I took the 2nd picture (not posted) know the guy and don’t like him b/c they know he’s a drug addict. They even wondered where he got the chair from!

i didnt blame anyone for the loss of my legs. some chinaman took them from me in korea, but i went out and achieved anyway. i cant solve your problems sir, only you can.
