Flood’s Tavern closed last year just before Christmas. The new owners finally got their building permits etc.., and are currently renovating. The entire building has been gutted, and when the construction is finished it will be a bar & restaurant.

I agree with Neighbor.
The sign says “Congregation of the learners of Torah of Marine Park” as Gerristenbeach.net pointed out. The sign is in Hebrew but doesn’t mean the members of the Shul (synagogue) speak only Hebrew. Most Jews in the United States speak English fluently and can put together a sentence or two of Hebrew, but know Hebrew for prayers.

Last Friday I noticed there is a really nice new awning written in both Hebrew and English.
Folks please sign the petition to save the B2/B31 so us seniors will have a way to get around our neighborhood!!!
