Village Voice, Daily News & someone is Attacking Marty Golden

About a month ago the Village Voice ran an article detailing Marty Golden’s spending to his family’s catering hall. GOP Star Marty Golden Doles Out Big Bucks to his Family Catering Hall – Village Voice

The Voice combed through pages and pages of public finance records to uncover secret shady accounting practices behind Senator Marty Golden’s ownership interests in local “chicken or fish” caterer, the ‘Bay Ridge Manor.’

Then in the Daily News they ranked and took a look at spending in the State Senate
Eight senators spent more than $500,000 in legislative office expenses – including travel – between Oct. 1 last year and March 31 this year. $500G just another day at the office for state senators – NY Daily News

Among Golden’s expenses were travel bills ranging from $45 to $990 to handle “legislative duties in Albany.”

Golden said those bills often included meals, hotel rooms and the cost of travel to Albany.

Then in another twist…..At the most recent property owners meeting it was brought up directly to Marty Golden that his literature was appearing in the back of resurrection church and that the priests were not happy that he was doing that. Marty specifically said that it was not his literature and explained that someone is printing the Village Voice article and placing them in the back of the church also placing it inside church pamphlets.

He also explained that this person is also placing the article in numerous places including private mailboxes, multiple churches, inside newspapers, private letters to orginizations, basically anywhere it could go.
