Imho, Randazzo’s food is at best mediocre and overpriced. Nick’s Lobster or Jordan’s, in comparison, give you better bang for your buck and tastier food

Agreed! Back in the day Randazzo’s used to be great! Now just a rip off.

How was this survey done? If its based on voting then perhaps Randazzo’s voted themselves in? Not to pick on them any restaurant can do this.
Il Fornetto is very good…expensive but food is great there.

Maybe Randazzo’s made AOL an offer they could not refuse ;-)

Has anyone posting here even eaten at Randazzo’s lately? Their Calamari is by far THE BEST anywhere. Period. And no one has “The Sauce” like they do. It’s a Sheepshead Bay landmark that should be treasured due to the fact of what’s been happening down there. Change, Change, Change. Condo, Co-op blah, blah, blah. It’s places like Randazzo’s and Roll N Roaster and their longevity down there that help give the Bay it’s charm, not the cookie cutter Condos going up everywhere, or ythe stuck up Russian Restaurants. Besides, the service there is Excellent, isn’t it, GB.net??

If R & R keeps uping the prices they may as well sell to condo developer cause we can’t afford to eat there anymore.

R&R can not come close to brennan & carr.

Randazzo’s clam bar was always great. The full restaurant was soso but the clam bar!! I love the shrimp with medium as well as the calamari

Ate there the other night with my wife and 2 kids. Calamari, shared a chicken parm, mussels, chicken nuggets, a pasta dish, soup, a beer and a couple of soft drinks…the total: OVER $65.00 not including a tip. I could not believe the bill was that high. Yet, the place was packed on a Sunday night.
I guess people have to eat dispite the economy. The food is still tops!

If they are the best, what can be the worst? I don’t want to even think about it.

Randazzo’s is way OVERPRICED. Back in the day when different people managed it, it was ALOT better!
