This Saturday, May 17th 7:30 p.m. in honor of Armed Forces Day, a candlelight vigil will be held in the Gerritsen Beach Little League “Larry Veling” Field. (Gerritsen Avenue off Cyrus Avenue)
This event is the idea and organized by a GB soldiers wife Nicole Donovan for Arm Forces Day. It is all about supporting the soldiers that volunteer to protect the USA. The ceremony should last about 30 to 45 minutes and is supported by all the local organizations.
