The All Way Stop Sign on Avenue V and Brigham Street is going to be replaced soon with a traffic light.
For all the Channel Avenue traffic light advocates, this intersection obviously met the requirements for a light.

This is so messed up, We have tried for years to get some lights on the avenue, how could this be possible? People have died on Gerritsen Ave what more does it take for us to get a light here. Does Marty Golden or Lew Fidler know about this? We need to have another meeting and let them tell us exactly what it will take once and for all….

D.O.T has placed road sensors (axle counters) on Florence and Gerritsen Ave. near St. James church- maybe this time they won`t be cut up before a reading can be taken. In order to put in a light on the avenue I imagine a line has to be run from the light in front of P.S.277 and the city probably thinks this is a unnecessary expense. Not until an outsider gets hit going to or coming back from the library will this subject get any attention from the above

There has to be a way to force him to downsize. What he wants to build is way too much and I’m sure his asking prices will leave him many empty condo’s. I can only hope he runs out of money or never gets funded for it. I’d say something worse, but I’m trying to stay out of hell after I leave this earth.
