Just my opinion, but they should stop using the word community and replace it with “neighborhood”. It would look better and it would jam the name through so there is no confusion between the groups.

What’s the obsession with Manhatten Beach? No one from GB cares about Manhatten Beach.
Maybe you should start a 2nd blog.

The second blog is a good idea. I will think about it. Im thinking the Manhattan Beach news is too far and in between to warrant a second site.
Why so much Manhattan Beach news? Im intrigued by Manhattan beach and no one else is posting this news
NO ONE IN GERRITSEN BEACH CARES ABOUT WHAT GOES ON MANHATTAN BEACH!

I totally love these posts. What is the big deal. GB.net is not slacking on any other area of the post. What is wrong with some branching out. As long as nothing else for the main vision of the site suffers it is fine.

It’s great that GerritsenBeach.net posts news from the surrounding communities, especially those that don’t have blogs or websites of their own. We all share many concerns that don’t disappear at neighborhood borders, and we are all contiguous with the same body of water that make our end of Brooklyn one of the most beautiful areas of the city.
While your site’s name may seem somewhat limiting, your coverage of area concerns and activities is as valid and competent as that of any of our local print media, and it is available much more quickly. We in Manhattan Beach appreciate your interest and involvement and are happy to have you as a neighbor. Keep up the good work!
