A disgruntled faction of Manhattan Beach Community Group (MBCG) members announced this week that they have decided to break away from the 67-year-old organization and form a new civic of their own.
The Manhattan Beach Neighborhood Association (MBNA), as the new organization is being called, is scheduled to hold its first meeting at P.S. 195 on April 7 at 8 p.m.

When did someone from the MBCG spit on Councilman Nelson? Odd quote from enigmatic Councilman who shows up for nothing, unless it is a CB15 meeting with his wife.
I love how he said there is nothing in the charter that says he has to work with Communtiy Groups.
Has he ever even read the charter? I guess there is nothing in there that says you even have to work at all. You have not been to a MBCG meeting this whole year already. Scheduling conflicts, I bet.
How can i get a job for $120,000 a year where I do not have to do a thing.
Let’s figure out why Nelson supports MBNA over MBCG. I would guess that his wife’s doctor is Ditchek and his own dental surgeon is Biondo.

JULIE sounds like you are on the board of directors of MBCG and the way you are very disrespectful and insulting to your councilman and the other local politicians ,is maybe why they are not supporting your group????
I have been at some of your meetings and yes the councilman always has a representative from his office if he cannot be at the meetings himself , just like all the others do, this is the way it works,so why are you and your group MBCG continue to bad mouth eveyone you can is just unbelievable ,this just shows how Arrogant, Abnoxious,and Uncouth MBCG is, you and your group have no class at all and this is why you are losing members and falling apart from the seams.
Just think if you talk and treat your local politicians like this ,how do you treat members of your group?????
From the write up in the Bay News sounds like your group MBCG has gotten alot of members upset and looks like your group MBCG is not the group to be in any longer , looks like MBCG is a group of people with old ideas, that just does not work for this time, time has passed you by, time to retire.
