As we got a littl eolder we would sometimes go ourselves. I was sad to hear of the owners passing in 2001 as he was always nice to us. If I am not mistaken he even asked my mother out once, lol. Had things happened differently maybe I could have still been running the carousel today. Painting over the sign was clear stupidity. Very sad to see. I have fond memories of Palisades park and Coney Island, but Coney is in need of new things. I bet you no longer live in the area.
