When seba avenue park opened it came with volley ball poles right in the middle of a all purpose asphalt field. Since the only kids that were using it were the hockey players and kids on bikes, these poles were a hazard to them and very annoying.
So what did they do? They removed them. It just so happened that the parks department was going to remove them anyway but the kids beat them too it.
As for the straight up vandalism a bench was removed and half dozen trees were snapped.

i’m glad those poles were removed, a few kids got seriously hurt skating accidentally into those poles while playing hockey, as for the bench and the trees that’s just straight up dirtbag shit

Typical but maybe it will keep them distracted and they won’t destroy the bus depots but I doubt it.

At first I was glad to find this site to see what was happening in the old neighborhood….. and you know what?? It appears that the same low class mental misfits from years ago that did this crap have remained in the area and have reproduced. It’s interesting to me also that one of the posters commented that maybe the new park vandalizism will distract the malcontents from destroying the new bus shelters and another poster says in so many words, I knew this would happen. There is a saying “You can’t go home”. When I look at some of the garbage that still goes on in GB, I ask myself why would I?

The kids today – some are animals and some unfortunately were raised by animals and I agree, they should be hung by their b*alls and made an example out of, but please dont’ put down those of us that still live here. My memories of growing up here for the most part were pretty damned good.
