Yeah, it would have been scavenger heaven.... If you need computer parts, though, try strolling through Park Slope this time of year - I lived there for 14 years and always, with perfect luck, found a totally functional monitor/keyboard/mouse on the sidewalk right around the time the one I'd been using bit the dust. I even found a laptop once. (Spoiled yuppies just put their stuff out on the curb when they upgrade to the newer, fancier model).
