Don’t worry “Gerritsen Beachers” !!! One day (soon I hope) a huge flood will come and wash the whole messy, white trash, swamp of a neighborhood back into the sea anyway.
Its like some bizarre horizontal housing project over there. The time is SURE to come when they throw something at the wrong car. Then the poor, clueless, morons will be praying for the very same cops they badmouth to come save their pointless lives…However, what else would you expect from dysfunctional inbred alcoholic kids, who are obviously the offspring of dysfunctional inbred alcoholics themselves? Hell, even my dog has enough sense not to sh!t where he sleeps!

Honestly, I am a 14 year old kid who is probably the only one in Gerritsen Beach who is against the idocity of my fellow peers. They act as if their southern hicks with a mental disorder. Why would you want to cause harm to a store, bus, park, etc if you yourself have used them your whole life. What if the buses found out all the kids who pelted the buses then decided that children under the age of 15 were not aloud to ride the bus.
I know for a fact that kids drink and smoke in the Seba Avenue Park (which from the start I believed was a horrid and stupid idea) and it disgusts me. One day I was at the park with my sister and niece and two kids, not even 13 were tagging the Merry Go Round. It may have been stupid of me but I walked over and cleaned it off of my hand because my niece wanted to go on it.
If someone were to start a petition against the park, I would glady sign it. If only Marty Golden would due something about the park. I also belive that the backweeds should be permantley banned from the people of Gerritsen Beach. It is a horrid disgusting and danger to the Beach.

Hello everybody, I definetly feel sorry for the police and the MTA during Halloween when there in GB. But toward the end of the nite the cops were frusterated and just wanted to arest anybody, I’m 16 and i was just having fun with shaving cream I didn’t throw one egg. I was across the street from St. James and I went to cross right when a cop car was driving down the avenue, as I was crossing somone threw an egg at the car, obviusly they were pissed but they just grabbed to random kids threw them up against the wall put them in handcuffs and gave them a summence (I was one of those kids). I think its ridiculus how they were frustrated and got anybody they can, I did apsolutly nothing wrong. I really wish i did throw that egg then i wouldn’t be paying for no reason.

Hey, everyone who thinks it’s okay to throw eggs and shaving cream, put your money where your loud mouths are and let’s throw some eggs on your houses and vehicles, and wake up, obviously but not surprising some of you knuckle heads don’t watch the news or read newspapers, I WILL REPEAT IT, IN TODAY’S WORLD THEY WILL SHOOT YOUR A** FOR THE SMALLEST INFRACTION! IT’S JUST A MATTER OF TIME! Throwing eggs is not okay, I never did it, I guess my mother raised me to respect others too bad many other mothers failed their kids.

I am 60 years old and did throw eggs when I was a kid, saying that this will lead the kids to carry guns and knives is totally ridiculous, I actually think that the police have to over react on halloween probably because they get so many 911 calls.. maybe before being ashamed of the kids having fun on Halloween you should be ashamed of all the mothers and fathers who frequent the excessive bars in this neighborhood, or seeing the drunk adults walking down the courts at night or maybe even getting in there cars and driving, how about all the double parked cars along the Avenue how dangerous is that? , or why not be ashamed of having the community service people cleaning up the mess that we the neighborhood people make ( btw these community service people, some DO have felonies and serious past crimes on there rap sheets in case your all thought they were just being punished for violations . ) So since when is it a crime to possess eggs and shaving cream? Besides how come I never see a problem when kids are throwing snow balls at the buses , isn’t that a little more dangerous , I never saw an egg break a window. All this talk is stupid many of these kids will grow up to be police officers themselves, and be good people like most of the people in Gerritsen Beach
