Let me start out by saying that I’m sorry. Why? Well becuase I missed the better of the two 9-11 ceremonies. The Marine Park event while it was good, it was lacking a community feeling. The Gerritsen Beach event was much larger and less political.
I would of been able to make both events if the Marine Park event didn’t start 20 minutes late, beginning at 7:20 p.m. and would be been able to get much better photos of our event.
Lesson learned.
The Knights did a great job organizing this event. Bravo to them.

I would like to know the name of the song sung by a young lady with brown hair, at the memmorial service at the larry veling little leauge park. even though i have not missed a service it is not always easy to hear everything that goes on, but i know the song was on a video and the word america was in the title. I had never heard the song befor but i thought it was beautiful and would like to hear it again. any info would be appreciated. thanks
