I, too, served with a great jarhead named Digger Byrnes with UNTSO in Lebanon back in the eary 80′s. I wold LOVE to hook up with him again.

I was also serving with UNTSO 80-82 and had a great time with Digger Byrnes. I have been searching for him without any result.

Lt. Col. “Digger” Byrnes was my XO and then CO in VMO-1, MAG-29, MCAS New River 1983-1985. Great guy to work for and to share a cockpit with. Loved us ground grunt Aerial Observers!
