Coming in on our tip line. A city car was seen going up and down Gerritsen avenue removing postings on the utility poles. When asked, he promised a $75 fine for each posting.
On the Avenue recently we have seen dozens of postings for a “battle of the dj’s ” at the tamaqua benifiting the Vollies. Hopefully the Tamaqua wont be fined, they have been though enough this week.

Hi,
I am glad I saw this post because on Saturday, April 5, at Tamaqua GIRLS ON TOP, my very fun classic rock band, is holding a women’s suit drive and dance party to benefit Dress for Success, a non-profit that provides disadvantaged women re-entering the workforce with interview and business-appropriate clothing. I have made up posters for Tamaqua, and was going to post some of them myself around Gerritsen Beach, but now I have second thoughts. Can you please let me know where you would suggest I put up the posters where people will see them, but where neither Tamaqua nor the band will be fined? Thank you very much. ~Laura of GIRLS ON TOP. P.S. If anyone reading this would like to come that night, the show is from 10PM to 2AM. Cover is $8 or free with the donation of a gently used women’s suit. We are encouraging everyone to come down and make a fun night of it for this worth cause. For more info, please see http://www.dressforsuccess.org.

Nothing seems to be easier than seeing someone whom you can help but not helping.
I suggest we start giving it a try. Give love to the ones that need it.
God will appreciate it.
