Since the closing of Fair Deal Video in March-06 it has long been speculated on what is going to replace it.
According to the Department of Building (DOB) complaints on 2722 Gerritsen Ave, the address of Fair Deal Video. There have been a total of 9 complaints since May of 2006, the most recent complaint being on 1/17/07. Each complaint is mostly for illegal work (without permits) being done at all hours of the night.
Some callers have stated to 311 that the owner Arthur Gray is going to be building a bar or some type of Gentlemens lounge. Any kind of bar on that property would be placed right next to the Bantry Bar which would make two bars next to each other.
Makes us think of when we saw a starbucks across the street from a starbucks.
